Overview

Aitken Partners is a premium Australian law firm with a long history of legal service delivery across business, private clients, and government sectors.

To support its day‑to‑day operations, the firm required an online payment interface that would allow clients to pay securely for services directly through their website. They used the ANZ Worldline payment gateway, and needed a solution that would:

  • collect client billing details

  • process card payments

  • ensure high levels of security by enforcing 3‑Domain Secure (3DS) authentication

  • provide seamless integration with the firm’s existing web infrastructure

The Challenge

Key challenges included:

  • 🛡️ Secure online payments: Payments must be processed safely without exposing sensitive card data.

  • 💳 Gateway compliance: Integrating with the ANZ Worldline gateway, which requires strict protocols.

  • 🔐 3DS enforcement: Only 3DS‑authenticated payments could be accepted to reduce fraud risk and meet compliance standards.

  • 📱 User experience: Clients needed a simple, reliable interface for processing payments directly from the firm’s site.

Our Solution

We developed a custom payment integration platform that securely connects the firm’s frontend forms to the ANZ Worldline payment gateway.
